NJ Middlesex County Mural Design Contest
A local county ran a contest to design a mural for a public park. My goal for this piece was to showcase the beauty and essence of the town.

After submitting my design, I was chosen as a semi-finalist. The semi-finalist artwork was posted the county’s website to be voted on. Although I didn’t win, this project fueled my desire to showcase my art on large-scale platforms to reach a wider audience.
The three main elements of my design are a girl, the sea, and the Great Beds Lighthouse, a known landmark within the county. With her eyes closed, the girl represents tranquility. Her hair is a transition into the ocean waves, which allows the audience’s gaze to move to the lighthouse.
